Our gilding is done by Jo Green who, having completed four years of training at art school and the De Montfort University, now practices the traditional art of gilding, also encompassing painted surface decoration. Much of her work involves the sympathetic restoration and conservation of Antique frames and furniture as well as work within period interiors, architectural gilding, contemporary furniture, painted surface decoration and specialist framing. Jo has a wide range of customers including Antique dealers and collectors, The National Trust, painting/paper conservators, private owners of period properties, artists and art collectors, furniture makers and restorers, interior designers, yacht designers, kitchen makers and of course the Harry Stebbing Workshop ! A recent project was six gilded weather vanes on the top of the newly completed tower of St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds Suffolk

Church Clock at Ludham Norfolk. Situated on the church tower, the whole face and hands have been restored to the original colour scheme, including gilded numerals, motifs and hands. Gilded areas have received oil gilding using traditional methods and fine 231/2 carat gold leaf.
A pair of carved curtain finials which have been given a distressed finish using layers of oil paint, fine gold leaf and waxes.
